The first Taberna del Alabardero opened its doors in 1974, in front of the Royal Palace of Madrid, taking its name from the royal guard: the alabarderos.
In 1989 we opened in Washington, where you can enjoy the best of traditional Spanish gastronomy, our well known wines and the warm hospitality of our home, which is also yours.

Founded in 1989, Bodegas Remírez de Ganuza was born from the personal commitment of its founder, Fernando Remírez de Ganuza. Today, it stands as one of the most historic and important wineries in DOCa Rioja, recognized for its outstanding white and red wines.
For this special occasion, we have crafted a Tasting Menu, pairing the most iconic Remírez de Ganuza wines with the finest Spanish cuisine.
